Speaking about today's Watchtower did anyone notice how some of the paragraphs showed up the organization. The organization is guilty of not following some the very counsel it gave in some of the paragraphs.

The bible does encourage christians to meet together in an organized way for encouragement and teaching. Just do a careful reading of 1 Corinthians 14 and it should become clear that there were congregation meetings back then and Paul's counself recorded there shows that they were to be done orderly. Hebrews 10:25 has to be understood in the broader context of 1 Corinthians 14 and other texts that speak about various congregations held in different houses.
However, the level of human organization that the bible mandates goes no further than the local congregation arrangement. There is no basis for a global hierarchical organization as the Watchtower would have you beleive. All organizing above the congregation level is done from heaven. What is supposed to unite the different local congregations worldwise is not a top tier human bureaucracy but the teachings of the bible and the action God's spirit to impart the correct understanding of it. When the same spirit conveys the correct understanding to different congregations they are naturally united.
And here's the thing: only those who are truly humble and genuine would be given the correct understanding by holy spirit. So this way, God himself through holy spirit unites true followers worldwide. In the event that an elder in a local congregation apostatizes only that local congregation is at risk because the elder does not exercise control over other congregations. But with the human bureaucratic method all the congregations are at the mercy of the bureau. If the bureau does not have truly humble and genuine men (and this often happens - something about absolute power corrupting absolutely) then holy spirit will not give them the correct understanding and they and all their subordinate congregations are in error. When the bureau apostatizes, all the congregations are in danger of apostasy.
According to the bible, christ is the head of the congregation - not a hubris filled, authoritatarian Governing Body.

"According to the paragraph, that is just annoying. People can't even comment in their own words anymore. How bad is it where you're at? Can people even talk anymore . . . "
hmm hmm . . . let me take that again:
" . . . people can't even talk anymore without reading something verbatim from the watchtower or the book study!"

Jehovah's love for Elisha moved him to send a she-bear to kill 42 children who were mocking the prophet. Even though we do not have all the facts we can be sure that those children deserved to be slaughtered by that bear.

" The vision depicts a woman with 7 horns, a forked serpent's tongue and hands and feet like the paws of a wolf.
The woman wears a sheep skin coat, white and clean on the outside. But the inside is soiled with the blood of persons she caused to die; the semen from her acts of fornication with traveling merchants of the earth; and tears of those whom she has hurt with her false promises and vindictive ways.
She lives in a tower with her 7 children with whom she is very strict. She promises them that if they are loyal to her they will one day get to play in a beautiful garden. She uses this promise to exploit them into doing everything she asks - even when her request does not seem logical from a human standpoint.
And the 7 infants would sing the praises of their mother saying: "Who is there like Mother? Where else shall we go away to? Only by sticking to Mother will we get to inherit the garden!"
The woman tries very hard to hide the soiled inner portion of her garment from her children and others, because they reveal her true, ugly character. Whenever someone points at a stain on the inside of her garment she accuses them of being a wicked liar and then tosses them out the tower so no one can speak to them.
As I kept looking something strange caught my attention. This mother of 7 kept reaching down and picking up her infants one by one and engaging in breast feeding, only they were not sucking her breasts. She was sucking theirs!"https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20140508212954AA76ZyN

Question: Where's The Doctrinal "Component" Behind Recent Changes?
by metatron ini just wanted to toss this out there: is there any noticeable doctrinal backdrop or expressed scriptural component behind recent changes?.
now, there are many opinions about recent changes - ranging from complete and utter cynicism motivating the governing body to naive belief in their own bullsh*t. also, are they just reacting to sudden developments or is there any coherent long term plan?.
i would think that if they truly expect to 'trim down' the organization by laying off publishers (in addition to bethelites, do's, branch members) then the watchtower magazine and various assembly talks should reflect that.

Do You Believe That Jehovah's Witnesses Should Be Outlawed As They Are In Some Countries?
by minimus inor do you believe they have the right to practice their religion, as they do?.

I agree with nicolaou. Their harmful practices should be legislated against but not the religion itself.

Regarding their statement that men removed the name Jehovah from the NT: Tell them that if Jehovah allowed men to remove his name from the NT without allowing so much as a single Greek NT manuscript with the name to survive, then how can anyone trust that Jehovah didn't allow other changes in the NT. How can we trust anything the NT says? Their statement that God permitted men to thorougly remove Jehovah from the NT implies that God is not really capable of accurately preserving his word. The fools don't realize that they're actually undermining trust in the bible in order to support Watchtower teachings!
Another point is this: They will say that whenever the NT quotes an OT passage containing the YHWH then that's a solid basis for restoring Jehovah in that NT passage. But the NWT actually "restores" Jehovah to many places in the NT where the text isn't quoting OT passages with YHWH. Ask them if its proper to put Jehovah in NT texts that aren't even quoting OT passages with the name.

" Perhaps the human body was immue to bacteria and viruses when it was perfect. Today some bacteria and viruses are good for us, this could indicate that they were all beneficial in the beginning and that the harm could be due to our imperfect bodies rather than the bacteria and viruses themselves. When viewed this way God didn't create any harmful bacteria or viruses, they just because harmful after Adam sinned and our bodies were no longer perfect."
If they weren't originally harmful to the body then why do humans and animals have immune systems that specialize in fighting bacteria and viruses? Why did God have to design immune systems at all? Or did immune systems come about after sin? LOL.
So God created something that he knows to be harmful to humans so he then addresses that problem by creating an immune system to counteract the harmful thing that he made? Isn't that a bit like God fighting with himself?
